Also great to see which effort you put in to get clean and good feed, and silage and how the bedding works. Looks good. The math is good as well, even more so considering you start that early in the morning, can imagine sometimes the head is still sleeping isn't it? Long days, but appreciated to gain this great insight from your farm, yard and family!

When you put in the bacteria killer I was thinking of it going in the tr mixer but it looks like it mixes fine how you did it. Good video , I used to help on the dairy farm yrs ago 135 a day but they had a.o. Smith harvesters.

That skid loader is a solid bit of kit. Without it, you would be really struggling. I worked on a dairy farm when I was a kid in the '80s and it was one tractor for everything. Now it seems to be one tractor per job. I've never knew the tyres were filled with liquid. Is that normal.

Sweeping the bunk is a nice touch... no rocks and debris to harm the cows mouth. Pride!

What's the thing you use for pre-dip? Is it buyable or you made it?

I sure would of liked to have equipment like that back in the 70’s. Dairy farming is a lot different now than it was back then. We milked 2 cows on each side back then. It took one person about 4 hours to milk our cows in the morning and in the evening. So it took us 8 hours a day to milk our cows. Then there’s all the other jobs that had to be done. Feeding, cleaning up, taking care of the calves, planting and harvesting the crops, repairing breakdowns, and all the jobs in between. That made for very long days. We even had one cow that had to be milked 3 times a day. I enjoy watching dairy farm videos.

As a kid I used many hours on a ih cub low boy. It had adjustments for this. The low and wide was what we used with offset engine I studied it a lot. It is small but. Cool old tractor. And Watercooled not water pump. Always cool

Growing up, my dad warned us NOT to play polka music while milking cows because they like it too much and start dancing! I'm pretty sure none of us kids EVER even thought about, let alone played, polka music even while milking!

Probably could run duals on the rears for better traction and stability and reduced compaction with those wheels so far in. We used to run duals on our farmall 806 with that spacing.

60 inch wheel spacing seems pretty narrow for that big tractor. Least the wheels are weighted so it shouldn't be top heavy.
