The roadmaps that NASA has planned ahead made goosebumps on me. The first impressive task is (a) to test the O2 making device, (b) to shoot a much bigger device up to make O2 and store the O2 in a tank, (c) to send humans there to use those O2 stored. My mind is blown away. It will basically store enough O2 for human missions. The second impressive task is (a) to send another rover, (b) to collect the samples that Perseverance is going to be left on the Mars surface, then (c) to send them back with a rocket launched from Mars. My mind is blown away again. It will test the round trip and prepare it for future human operations. Clearly, human landing on Mars is a matter of time. Compare to those, autonomous driving on Mars seems less impressive. :-) Anyway, Perseverance is loaded with the high techs on earth. Kudos to these scientists, engineers, and project managers!
