Don't get me wrong.. I love me some Westlove..but the first night was much better. She did entirely too much talking and not enough singing. Also, she kept asking what kind of crowd she had In my opinion it was a lot of Bettie Wright and Southern Souls lovers..they bought the tickets after hearing her sing Tonight is the night (Karaoke) She should have started out singing an uptempo song everybody knows instead of Donald Trump to set the atmosphere for her crowd..and she sung her songs entirely too long..you never want to bore your crowd..im just saying.. but her voice is phenomenal!

Too much talking and apologizing for singing a certain song. You never try to identify your audience by "age" . You usually ask whether they are familiar with a decade- 70's, 80's., etc. Too much gyrating with songs. Blaming crowd low key response on Rickey which was a turnoff. One or two responses from the audience is enough. Stay put on the stage for her safety as well as the crowd because of COVID. She is awesome but professionally speaking she sings much better than she speaks so she should just sing and talk less. She is a phenomenal performer who I would travel to see. I have watched night 1 several times. I wish her the best and look forward to cover of more Betty Wright songs. Hope the critique helps her professionally. Westlove is the bomb !!! The sky is the limit for her.

Too much talking and apologizing for singing a certain song. You never try to identify your audience by "age" . You usually ask whether they are familiar with a decade- 70's, 80's., etc. Too much gyrating with songs. Blaming crowd low key response on Rickey which was a turnoff. One or two responses from the audience is enough. Stay put on the stage for her safety as well as the crowd because of COVID. She is awesome but professionally speaking she sings much better than she speaks so she should just sing and talk less. She is a phenomenal performer who I would travel to see. I have watched night 1 several times. I wish her the best and look forward to cover of more Betty Wright songs. Hope the critique helps her professionally. Westlove is the bomb !!! The sky is the limit for her.
