This is such a brilliant conversation, between interesting human beings. Also, men: self-reflective, inspired, thoughtful, respectful, creative, humble, brilliant men. Chadwick Boseman's words in the first 4 minutes are just so insightful and wise. It would be great for there to be more conversation spaces held like this for men to express and share and be seen for qualities they can bring when they're not being forced to conform to society's narrow interpretation of what it is to be a man. The world needs more of this kind of human connection! Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter for bringing us this.

I would just want to know how much experience you have working with parents who have lost a child/ their children? It's not true parents don't realize their child is dead and beyond saving, when that is the case. I once was at the scene where a two year old had falen down to the train rack seconds before the train came. When the rescue workers got the child out from under the train, it was clear to everyone there, including the mother, that there was no point in starting CPR. When it comes to the case we are talking about; If you are going to do heart compressions on someone, that person needs to lay straight down on something solid, or the compressions will not be effective. But when the father took the little boy out of his car seat, he was in full Rigor Mortis. Witnesses described how his legs was up in the air, as if he was still sitting the car seat, when he laid on the concrete. Most people will intuitively know that a person in full Rigor Mortis has already been dead for some hours and can not be brought back to life what ever you do.

    • Jigsaw

      Ай мурун

Super stupid question but I wouldn’t chop it up to racism necessarily. He probably asked said question because there have been instances of actors portraying characters they have no business playing, like Scarlet Johansson playing a Transgender person. It definitely was a silly question for the interviewer to ask but I think he was more so trying to start a conversation on how people in hollywood think it’s okay to portray characters they don’t relate too at all. just my take
