Am I wrong for focusing on the wife's hair instead of the family's issues?

This man is turning these women against each other, he convinced his wife that his mother wasnt a good person to be around for them and their son and when his mother wants a relaationship he acts like its his wife only that doesnt want her there!! He hasnt forgiven his mother and is using his wife to stay away from his mom!!! And the wife ofcourse just excels at being vindictive!!

Sheesh he annoying, and she is too. I wonder if they looked back at this and saw how crazy being stubborn looks on film lol Hope they really doing ok.

I don't believe for one second she didn't keep Cairo from that grandmother. In fact, I feel she was probably happy to have a reason to be petty and keep her child from his grandmother for whatever reason. Just as I thought. So the (Grandmother) is trying to change the outcome of her parenting. And when she sees another woman, her daughter-in-law doing things that grandma could not have done because of her breakdown, she puts up a resistance almost to say she can do a better job Or even that she wants more than her share to contribute raising the little boy. So it/s her own conscience that is playing in this whole mess- She/s trying to do makeup work. With no disrespect intended, but unfortunately the time has passed for to mother the only son she has, and now she wants a second chance to make up with And through the grandson. But that/s not going to work baby Because the child has a mother and a wife that can take care of both man and boy. It/s not going to work because is not Grandma/s place to try to parent the little boy When he has a mother. Doing That will make the child/s mother Angry and furious. Grandma is upset and she sends that the wife is not putting up with it and so trying to tell the husband to check his mother, is bringing the son and the mother To confusion. The wife is like, you can/t Try to raise my son when I/m alive. Not only Is that disrespectful even though it that wasn/t the intention , It nonetheless is being received that way. I am sure grandma can work on being happy and enjoy her son and grandchild while she Have the chance.

I really don't see continued healing in this family,too many dynamics in play.The Wife has too much angry&attitude towards the Mother-in law.The Husband seems unable or unwilling to take responsibility for his shortcomings and the Mother-in-law just doesn't like the Daughter-in-law and feels the son is a wimp because he sides with his wife and won't step in and allow her to see her Grandson.

I'm sorry.... not defending him on any way. But...... these women (his daughters) are old enough to call their father and have a just because conversation with their father. Not just when they need something.

Selfishness always ripping families apart

Watching this particular episode brings tears to my eyes...to this day (at 54 y/o) I do not have a relationship with my father b/c he is so broken and bitter. As the child, I had to wait until I was older to foster a relationship with my siblings because I wasn't allowed to have one with them when we were younger. We are thick as thieves now but sometimes I still feel like I've missed so much....

I think mothers don't realize what abandoning a son does. This man doesn't quite know how to communicate with women or trust them, he is shut off to women in general because of his mother. We talk about the affects if bad fathers on children, but bad mother's has the same affect.
