Question, could you reverse the direction of the intake valve so it is pointed the other way? Thus when you stick the engine on something (like a bike) the natural air flow created by the thrust can be utilized in forcing more air down the intake (basically what the turbo charger is doing now)

Can you make a turbo charger for a car, I tryed printing this with the intention of putting it in a car but I'm considered it will melt, I am using pc. If I where to cad it I would make it bigger, and increase the wall thickness, but I don't have the cad skills to design anything past linear parts. It's also a pain in the but to print because I can't get a good amount of surface on the bed.

Have you tried using powdered charcoal as fuel and adjusting thrust by adding oxygen? That's supposed to produce a ton of thrust.

thats a centrifugal supercharger not a turbocharger. A turbo is driven by exhaust and would make it a turbojet engine.

You dont need arduino to control a BLDC motor.. it miss signals a lot.. instead use a simple cheap servo tester

Print a ceramic tesla valve and put that on the inlet side. Should reduce or even stop backflow.

Idea! Vortex pulse jet, use the turbo create a vortex that cools the engine. I would suggest using a fan or propeller on a reduction planetary gearbox attached to the turbo's axle to also help the whole engine cool down. Loads of love to you and your crew of familia elves. But Integza......technically your engine is probably not a pulse jet because it relies on energy contributed by an external source it does not create itself, therefore it is instead a turbo compound jet engine. Also if you powered the turbocharger using energy derived from the engine, then you would have a gas turbine engine! Why don't you just scale down the dimensions for the engine the Germans used so successfully in their V1 cruise missile? Despite the deplorable purpose for which it was employed it remains a cool bit of engineering.

That's not really a proper 'pulse jet', that's intermittent/unstable combustion. If you get the proportions right that 'bang' you got at the start repeats at high frequency, and you'll know it because it is DEAFENING. And you'll need more than a kitchen scale to measure it. That's not much different from just using a stronger compressor. You just attached a strong leaf blower to your engine. A proper turbo charge on that thing would be interesting.

Technically, what you described is an electric supercharger. A turbocharger is powered by exhaust flowing thru a turbine that's connected to the supercharger [hence the name.]

Most of your problems exists because you using not exactly the right materials... You should consider start working with metal constructions instead of 3d printing components youre going to expose to High temperatures and High pressure

How about making a rocket engine with a cast metal nozzle? Could also use Hydrogen for fuel but beware of the pressure (just worried).

when you shut down your engine, leave the fan running a few seconds longer to help cool the combustion chamber. This hopefully will mean less wear and tear as well as clearing smoke.

I would like to see you refine the pulse jet and use it to launch a 3d printed V1 rocket. Or at least on some wheeled vehicle to see how fast it will go... If it will go at all. Plus could this be scaled down further?

Print an easy to use HHO Generator with split outlets so you have pure oxygen and pure H for each side. If that works well then maybe find a good way how to store the gasses easily without any complex compressors, cooling or hard to get gas tanks :D
